Headed to Moondog Heaven

I’m really excited to see what my good friend Robin has been up to these last few years in NYC. She’s put together a festival to celebrate maverick composer Louis Hardin (1916-1999) and the recent release of his authorized biography. Way cool event to include a puppet show, concerts, and book signing. I’m very much looking forward to next weekend.

This festival will also be the first of many great things to come from her newest non-profit, eupraxia, a collective of artists with a cause who are working together to generate the funding they need to change the world.

I heart you, Robin Boomer. And all you artistic social entrepreneurs out there. I heart you.

I’d like to sing you the news…

I was in a funny mood.. what can I say? I found this news article on October 27, hit the red record button and started singing ad lib from the top without having read it before. It was an experiment to see what I’d come up with. I had the sax intro lick from Billie Holliday’s “God Bless the Child” in my head to start with.  A singing telegram for you…

Juice PLUS+ and Metabolic Typing

I think Dr. Mercola is on to something here. It’s so important that each individual listen to his or her body and honor what it’s saying. If you feel groggy thirty minutes after a high-protein meal, chances are your body is asking for more of a hi-carb diet. And vice versa, if you get tired after a hi-carb meal, you may need to lean more toward a high-protein diet or mix the two in every meal.
